This is my one year plan to become like Layla Daltry, the action/scholar hero of my novel, The Compass Novel. She may be a much more realistic version of Lara Croft or Indiana Jones, but learning to do everything she can do is still going to be very tough.

You rock! I applaud what you are doing. I suspect it will pay off in terms of making a great piece of art. I also think what you are learning will inform whatever you do in the future. You are quite an inspiration. As a 44-year old who also tries to do parkour, I appreciate some of the aches and pains and humble pie you have to eat. Keep up the fantastic blog posts and good look to you and your alter ego!
